Best Burger in Sactown

Sacramento is well-known for a variety of unique burger restaurants, and a newbie to Sactown decided to visit all of them, from Squeeze Inn to Habit Burger. Here's the short list of the best places to eat a fine burger in Sacramento:

7. Squeeze Inn
6. Jim Dennys
5. Jamie's
4. The habit
3. Nation Wide Freezer Meats
2. Redrum Burger (aka Murder Burger)
1. Suzie Burger!

Having been to most of these, I would say this is spot on Suzie Burger is awesome. I suggest they take over the Orangevale Orbit as their next location.

You Know You're a Sacramentan When...

The News & Review has a great write-up on "You Know You're a Sacramentan When..." Our favorites: #24 - you think SoCal is a blacktopped, flora-less void (I thought that was just me!), #41 - you know the Denio's song by heart (don't deny it, now you are thinking it)...

Sacramento Drowns

Sacramento is the most vulnerable city in America when it comes to flooding - the levees are the only thing saving it. The History Channel shows what it would look like if Folsom Dam overflowed, causing a levee failure in Sacramento.

Name the New UFL Team

The UFL's California Redwoods are moving to Sacramento, and want to re-name the team to something that resonates with the Sacramento Valley. If you suggest a new team name, you could win some passes to some games

UFL's Redwoods Moving to Sac

The upstart United Football League has decided to move its San Francisco team to Sacramento and possibly rename the team. The team will play at Sac State, which is no stranger to semi-pro football - they hosted the Sacramento Surge and Sacramento Gold Miners in the 1990s.
